Doug Busk Joins Wireless Services Corporation

Will Lead SinglePoint Group Linking Innovative Content, Data Services and Wireless Carriers

Bellevue, WA - January 30, 2006 - Today Wireless Services Corporation announced that Doug Busk joined the company as Vice President and General Manager of SinglePoint Carrier Solutions. Busks focus will be to increase carriers' revenues by offering a proven, one-stop interface to mobile networks for application developers. As the first company to specialize in wireless data services, Wireless Services Corporation again demonstrates its innovative service by appointing Busk to lead its SinglePoint Group. SinglePoint will provide a premier single point of carrier connection for application providers and brands seeking reliable distribution and billing flexibility. "In his six years at two of the leading wireless carriers, Doug led the identification, development, and marketing of innovative wireless services and content to businesses and consumers," said Rich Begert, president and CEO of Wireless Services Corporation. "His experience in managing carriers' third-party developer programs makes him uniquely suited to help Wireless Services become the top choice for companies looking to provide innovative, reliable and proven wireless applications, content and mobile data delivery."

"The wireless industry faces an inflection point. The innovation and development of the next generation of wireless applications and data services SMS, MMS, WAP, IP or video will move outside the carriers' doors to the application providers, and to the companies that provide interfaces to those services and applications," said Busk. "With its carrier-grade product experience, Wireless Services provides an unparalleled interface to carriers for developers seeking content and application distribution."

At Verizon Wireless, Busk headed up Wi-Fi and EV-DO product development and led the carrier's SMS product line, which included peer-to-peer messaging, Instant Messaging, the Vtext.com consumer portal, and several enterprise applications, including the introduction of Verizon Wireless' iTXT Enterprise Messaging, the first true 500-character and inter-carrier messaging product for businesses. While at Cingular, Busk managed the thirdparty developer program, including the integration of partner billing services.

Prior to working with Verizon Wireless and Cingular, Busk led strategic development at wireless application services provider AnyDevice, Inc. and the advertising creative division at nationwide city-site network Cox Interactive Media. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Emory University.
