SinglePoint and Rights Group Deliver Advocacy Messages to Purses, Pockets and Belts

Political and nonprofit organizations have officially gone mobile

Bellevue, WA - Nov. 6, 2006 - SinglePoint (formerly Wireless Services Corp.) today announced a relationship with the Rights Group, a division of Mobile Commons Inc., the leading mobile phone campaign, advocacy and cause marketing company. SinglePoint is now the Rights Group's preferred U.S. carrier connectivity provider, powering political and nonprofit mobile campaigns. SinglePoint will provide the Rights Group with direct access to the 220 million mobile subscribers in the U.S., helping to increase political constituent bases and drive voters to the polls on Election Day. In return, Rights Group will become SinglePoint's preferred provider of advocacy solutions in the political, campaign, cause marketing and nonprofit realm.

"Mobile technology has allowed us to reach out to and hear from all Americans easily and efficiently," said Sen. John Edwards. "It is a powerful tool to turn ordinary people into extraordinary activists."

Mobile phones have become an invaluable requisite of a hectic American lifestyle. According to Ramon Llamas, a research analyst with IDC, 150 million mobile phones were shipped into the U.S. last year, and continued growth is expected this year.1 In addition, so far this year operators have reported 230 million subscribers, covering nearly 75 percent of the U.S. population.2 Connecting supporters to their causes via mobile devices is becoming increasingly paramount to keep up with this busy lifestyle. The collaboration between SinglePoint and Rights Group bridges that divide by connecting everyone from the most passionate activist to the casual nonprofit supporter to their cause. The relationship between SinglePoint and the Rights Group provides constituents, advocates, voters and companies with access to timely information about political candidates, campaign issues, upcoming rally events and the ways in which they can get involved with causes and organizations of their choice.

"2004 saw the arrival of the Internet as a force to be reckoned with in the political and nonprofit realms; 2006 will see the dawn of the mobile advocacy era. The quick and steady rise of mobile advocacy makes the reliable and scalable connectivity SinglePoint provides all that more critical," said Doug Busk, Vice President of marketing and product strategy at SinglePoint. "Nonprofit and political campaigns depend on timely notification to their supporters. SinglePoint stands ready to support Rights Group in ensuring consistent, speedy and confirmed delivery to mobile customers."

The Rights Group works with over 50 campaigns, organizations and companies to power and shape campaign themes, providing counsel on how to effectively craft messages and calls to action sent directly to mobile devices. The Rights Group helps sign up subscribers and enlarge constituent bases, through mass rapid response, poll and two-way communication, and targeted campaign messages. These applications integrate with political, corporate advocacy organizations' databases, and SinglePoint ensures those mobile messages are delivered directly to subscribers reliably and quickly. As a pioneer in mobile messaging, SinglePoint has successfully delivered over 8 billion messages in the U.S. since January 2006.

"SinglePoint provides the carrier-grade infrastructure and reliably superior service that the Rights Group needed to power political and nonprofit mobile advocacy campaigns," said Jed Alpert, CEO of Rights Group. "With response rates climbing and mobile messaging increasing as a preferred method of campaign awareness, we needed a connectivity provider that could ensure our messages were being delivered to our constituent base in a timely manner."

"Harnessing the power of the mobile medium for political and nonprofit purposes in the U.S. is gaining momentum," said Justin Oberman, a new-media viral marketing consultant and blogger at Personal Democracy Forum and MOpocket.com. "SinglePoint is one of the only connectivity providers to have a proven track record in the management of mobile advocacy campaigns. It has demonstrated an understanding of the political management world, and I could not imagine working with any other connectivity provider to harness this cutting-edge technology."
