Frequently Asked Questions:

Why are there references to "Digital Art in Motion" everywhere on this site?

This website's layout was originally designed for my video / film production project named, Digital Art in Motion.  During its development, the website became so personal that I decided to use it as a basis for my own personal website, hence, the birth of www.timkha.com.  Digital Art in Motion is still being created.

What's the deal with having three versions (table, frames, and flash) of the website?

The answer is three-fold.  A friend and webmaster for 911 Media Arts Center showed me his webpage and I thought to myself, "What a neat way to use frames to create the layout of your website.  I had never seen it used that way before."  So I decided to imitate it, and implement my own flare.  The birth of the frames format.  Unfortunately, I knew how unpopular frames were to web surfers, so I decided to design a tables only format for the audiences who refuse to look at "frames" anything.  The birth of the tables format.  Of course, statistics also show that web surfers hate being stopped by an intro page on their way to the website; therefore, the two formats will be used during testing to see which one is most preferred.  The flash version will be my platform for learning the program.  The foundation for the flash format.

Why is the "About" section so empty?

The "About" section was mainly designed for my video / film production project, Digital Art in Motion.  The content and quotes I put in there are a good reflection of who I am and what I believe in.  Besides, most of the people accessing this website already know a little bit about me.

How often do you update the news articles on your front page?

I'll try to update the news articles on my front page weekly.  If there is a hot story out that I feel you should know about, then I'll change it that day.

How often will you update the "Current Projects" section?

The "Current Projects" section will be updated periodically.  "Oh great, so that means once a year."  Well, no.  At least I hope not because that means I'm doing nothing.  If a project takes me more than a week to complete, there is a good chance it will be added to the "Current Projects" section.

Can we borrow some of your movies?

If you're a close friend of mine, then sure.  If I know you but we don't hang out very often, then a down payment of $25.00 for DVDs and VCDs and $15.00 for VHS.  If I don't know you at all, then I recommend going to blockbuster or your favorite video rental store.

Your movie reviews suck!

Thank you and please leave my site.  Since movies are created by a number of complex departments, it would not be fair to simply grade a movie without justification. Therefore, a grading system is currently being developed that will analyze individual parts of the production based on a few categories that are acknowledged by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. As the bugs are being worked out, I encourage you to take my movie reviews lightly.

Why aren't there more movie reviews?

I'm in the process of converting all of my movie reviews into html pages for the website.  In addition, a grading system is currently being developed that will analyze individual parts of the production based on a few categories that are acknowledged by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.  Movies are created by a number of complex departments, so it would not be fair to simply grade a movie without justification.

Can you showcase some of my stuff on your website?

Well, it depends on what kind of "stuff" you're referring to.  I would be more than happy to share your artwork, videos, and/or animation pieces on my website if I find them appropriate for my viewing audience.  "So we have to abide by what you find 'appropriate'?  That's bull shlonky!"  Sorry you feel that way, but if you want people to see your work, you might want to design your own webpage.
